Vision Statement

Individual speakers shall be allowed 3 minutes to address the Board on non-agenda items. The Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. With Board consent, the president may increase or decrease the time allowed for public presentation, depending on the topic and the number of persons wishing to be heard.." Board Policy (Bylaw) 9323. There will be no Board discussion except to ask questions or to refer the matter to staff and no actions will be taken unless listed on the agenda.

  The State requires that School Boards approve a spending plan for the Common Core State Standards Implementation dollars. PLESD will spend this money on the technology to implement the new standards and assessments. Other general funds will be spent on staff development.
